Following the personal and moving themes of the first two years, this year's festival motto is "Far & Near ." International superstars meet young artists, major orchestras encounter daring world premieres, and familiar sounds meet surprising instruments from around the globe. Music, literature, and extraordinary formats—from morning concerts and readings to musical hikes and an orchestral disco—open up new perspectives and create special encounters between artists and audiences.
