A summit meeting of FESTIVALARTISTS to celebrate Wolfgang Puschnig's 70th birthday
For Wolfgang Puschnig, Carinthia has always been a place of encounter and diversity – a cultural and musical melting pot that has profoundly shaped his artistic work. Since the 1980s, he has been a central figure in the Austrian jazz scene and maintains a vibrant exchange with musicians from all over the world. This open-minded attitude also characterizes the concert that festival artist Golnar Shahyar will present to celebrate his birthday, together with Wolfgang Puschnig, the Iranian guitar virtuoso Mahan Mirarab, and the Croatian cellist Asja Valčić.
