Fairy tales touch us. In this concert, we journey together with the Carinthian Summer Festival Orchestra, the RSO Vienna, under the direction of the acclaimed conductor Yi-Chen Lin, through the world of fairy tales and encounter one of the oldest instruments in the world, the Chinese mouth organ, the sheng. "This instrument was a discovery for me," says the Austrian composer Bernd Richard Deutsch. Two "phenomena" inspired his composition in 2018. Phaenomena: the Chinese mouth organ Sheng and its virtuoso performer Wu Wei, whose personality, musicality and unique presence deeply impressed the composer.
