Little Sigmund the bird tumbled out of his nest – whoosh, boom! Since then, those have been his favorite words. Sigmund's story comes from the pen of the award-winning children's author Heinz Janisch. His poetic story inspired composer Elisabeth Naske, who has been successfully writing musical theater for children for many years and whose works have already been performed at the Vienna State Opera and the Salzburg Festival.
