Impulses in the court music band

Once again, during Holy Week, the Hofmusikkapelle in Vienna offered a contemplative and inspiring preview of what was to come. Carinthian Summer 2026, as well as our morning concerts. Five of our commissioned texts on the theme of "Togetherness," which we will also hear at the morning concerts in the summer, were recited by our artistic director, Nadja Kayali. The daily half hour was a space to breathe, to listen, to gather new thoughts.
Two of this year's authors – Ana Marwan and Ljuba Arnautović – were also present at these lunchtime concerts.

The “Impulses” were musically accompanied as part of the Transitions Festival of the Vienna Court Music Chapel by the wonderful music of the Company of Music under the direction of Johannes Hiemetsberger.
