Vespers – Sacred Evening Music

We celebrated the Carinthian Summer 2024 on Saturday with a festive sacred evening music, a baroque vespers by Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber.

The young Viennese vocal soloists ensemble Momentum Vocal Music led by Simon Erasimus presented the extremely rarely heard Vespers of the Bohemian violin virtuoso and composer of the Salzburg Archbishop's Court from 1693.
In addition, the baroque string ensemble dolce risonanza and Jury Everhartz on the organ could be heard, and parish priest Erich Aichholzer invited everyone to a review of our festival summer!
